Beautiful Dunboyne Castle Wedding Photography

I travel the country photographing weddings but it’s rare that a year will go by without Dunboyne Castle Wedding Photography popping up in my calendar. This year it was the wedding of Hannah & Paul a lovely couple whom I’d met the previous year whilst shooting the wedding of Hannah’s cousin at Ballymagarvey Village. The documentary approach appealed to them as they really didn’t want to be tied down too much with photos on their wedding day.

So, it was a beautiful May day and the bridal preparations were well under way when I arrived at Hannah’s family home. The lads were getting ready closeby and my friend Dena Shearer had been drafted in to photograph them. Hannah & Paul live in the UK and Paul is English so a lot of guests had travelled over for the wedding.

Needless to say that the church yard before and after the wedding ceremony became a big meeting ground. There were a lot of guests at the wedding and following the ceremony everybody made their way to Dunboyne Castle for the reception. Family photos were done in almost no time thanks to the efforts of Paul and his groomsmen rounding everybody up. A few minutes were spent photographing the bride and groom before it was back into documentary mode and mingling with their guests.

Dunboyne Castle is a lovely and popular wedding venue with some nice grounds and interiors to work with. Staff are always friendly and efficient and food is excellent. The dance floor was crazy thanks to the brilliant Pink Champagne wedding band ensuring everybody danced like their life depended on it.

Thanks to Paul & Hannah for choosing me to photograph their wedding. If you are planning your wedding and looking for Dunboyne Castle Wedding Photography, get in touch to check availability and current prices.
