An engagement shoot on Killiney Hill in Dublin has got to be one of my favourite spots in Dublin for a shoot for loads of reasons.

It’s close-by, it has easy parking, it has gorgeous views over Dublin, due to it’s elevation it is a perfect place for a sunrise or sunset, it has many options for photography including wooded areas if we need shade or shelter from sun, rain or wind as well as walkways, steps, monuments, big rocks, little rocks, grassy areas yada yada yada…. Basically it’s got everything…!
So here is the first of several engagement shoots that I’ll post where I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. This is Kayla and Sam originally from Canada who were living and working in Dublin when they announced their engagement. Shot in December – although you wouldn’t think it.. We got up early in the hope of capturing a sunrise over the Irish Sea. And what a sunrise…! An incredible morning. Here are just a small selection of photos from their session.

My fiance (Tammera) is from Phoenix Arizona so we were thinking of The Phoenix Park. Although your Killiney Hill photos did attract our attention too.
I live in Wicklow and Tammera will be in Ireland of April and May so we’d be flexible on dates. Perhaps you’d suggest a time/date when colours and light might suit best.
