So, this week let’s talk about a wedding proposal shoot in Dublin City.

Wedding Proposal on the Liffey Boardwalk in Dublin City

I’m just so glad to be sharing this one with you. A few months ago I received an email from Chris in Scotland looking to see if I would be able to photograph his proposal whilst on a short trip to Dublin with his girlfriend. I said YES……!
There’s a bit more organising and logistics involved with a secret proposal shoot but a few emails and a phone conversation later, we had it all sussed out between us. Chris had seen a previous blog about a proposal I photographed on the Ha’Penny Bridge and so he had the boardwalk along the Liffey and Temple Bar in mind. Anyway, we chose the boardwalk which is generally a nice quiet spot with a lessor chance of somebody getting in my way at the last second – a proposal photographers nightmare…!! It also has a nice view of the Ha’penny Bridge in the background to work with.

So the day came and unknown to Chris’ girlfriend Cassandra, I followed hot on their heels all the way up O’Connell St and along to the boardwalk where Chris got down on one knee and popped the question to the total surprise of Cassandra. She said YES and I got it all..! Happy days..!
I hung around for a bit grabbing some photographs and then I let them go and celebrate and umm start planning…!! Anyway, wedding proposals are always great to photograph and I wish the very best to this lovely couple for their future together.

If you are looking for an proposal or engagement shoot, I am available for bookings anytime of the year.  Get in touch with me today to book your session.
